Listening + Reading for Semester II (Grade 7, NUS) is based on the textbook Full Blast Plus 7 by H. Q. Mitchell and Marileni Malkogianni and created according to the requirements of the New Ukrainian School curriculum.
The tasks assess students’ receptive language skills:

The work is organised according to the I group of learning outcomes of NUS and focuses on:
understanding spoken texts;
understanding written texts;
identifying main ideas and specific information;
interpreting events and details;
using critical thinking and logical sequencing.
The materials include vocabulary and communicative situations related to:
healthy lifestyle;
teamwork and responsibility;
sports and competitions;
emergencies and natural disasters;
safety rules and helping others.
The test is designed to develop students’ ability to analyse information, understand context, follow logical connections between events, and apply topic vocabulary from Modules 5–8 in practical communicative situations.
