Last summer, Kate decided to spend her holidays doing something useful. Instead of staying at home, she joined a volunteer program in a small village.

Every morning, Kate and other volunteers helped local people clean parks and plant trees. At first, the work was difficult because the weather was very hot, and the tasks required a lot of energy. However, after a few days, Kate got used to it.
