A Trip to the Eden Project
Last summer, my family and I went to Cornwall, England, to visit a famous place called the Eden Project. It’s not just a garden; it’s like a giant laboratory for nature. The most amazing things there are the Biomes — huge glass domes that look like bubbles.
Inside the Tropical Biome, I felt like I was in a rainforest. It was very humid, and there were exotic plants, banana trees, and even a waterfall! Our guide told us that many of these plants are endangered in the wild because of deforestation.
In the Mediterranean Biome, the air was dry and smelled like herbs. We saw lemon trees and beautiful flowers from South Africa and California. After our walk, we visited the café. All the food there is local and eco-friendly.
The Eden Project teaches us that we must protect our planet. If we don’t change our habits, many plants and animals will disappear forever. It was an inspiring trip, and I’ve decided to start a small recycling project at my school.
Read the text and choose the correct option (T for True, F for False).
