A Tale of Robin Hood
Nottingham Town was crowded for an archery competition the Sheriff organized, hoping to capture Robin Hood, who was expected to attend. The Sheriff searched for someone in green clothes, but no one wore that color.
Several archers performed well, but three were exceptional: Gilbert, Adam, and a stranger in a red jacket with dark brown hair. A soldier told the Sheriff that the stranger couldn't be Robin Hood because Robin had fair hair.
Gilbert shot close to the center. The stranger's arrow then sliced a feather from Gilbert's arrow before hitting the exact center of the target. The Sheriff declared the stranger the winner, awarded him a golden arrow, and claimed he was better than Robin Hood, who was too afraid to appear.
