How are you? Guess what? My dream is going to finally come true! As you know, wolves are my favourite animals. I thought wolves only lived in Alaska and Canada, but there are some other countries such as Ukraine and Spain – I’m going to see some in Norway next week!

I’m going to stay at Wolf Lodge in Norway for three nights. It’s going to be amazing! We’re going to fly to Bardufoss airport and then drive to the Lodge. It’s in the Arctic Circle so it’ll be very cold and snowy. I bought some new clothes to keep warm.

The wolves at the Lodge live in a huge park with forests, mountains and valleys. Because they often see people, they aren’t afraid of humans. The Lodge has guides and we’ll be able to go into a special area to meet the wolves. I can’t believe I’ll actually be able to touch them!

Wolves usually live in groups called packs and they work together to catch their food. Because they live in packs, other animals such as bears or mountain lions aren’t usually dangerous for them. They eat meat, but they also eat some fruit when they can find it.

We’re not just going to see wolves. It’ll be winter, so on our second day, we’re going to go whale watching. I hope we see some whales and some dolphins, too. In summer, you can go hiking and biking, but we won’t be doing that. Too cold! On the last day, we’re going to go skiing in the mountains.

When I get back, I’m going to send you some photos of my trip!
