Main aim:To identify kind of sports and sports games.

-practical: activate lexical material; use lexical units in speech; teach correct pronunciation, develop students' communication skills; improve the ability to listen to the text and understand the meaning of what is heard; check the level of reading comprehension; improve students' dialogic speaking skills; develop the ability to work in groups; continue to develop the ability to work with the project;

-educational: to systematize students' knowledge about sports, its types, importance in everyone's life; summarize grammatical material;

-developmental: to develop students' memory, attention, imagination, logical thinking, language guesswork; develop creative abilities; develop the ability to generalize and draw conclusions;

-educational: raise awareness of the importance of playing sports as a component of a healthy lifestyle; to cultivate a conscientious attitude to learning, to cultivate a sense of mutual assistance and joint work in groups.
