Objective: to systematize and consolidate students’ knowledge on the topic “Books in Our Life,” to train students in using thematic vocabulary in speech, to improve students’ skills in both monologue and dialogue speaking, to assess the level of students’ abilities in applying learned material in practice, to develop listening skills, memory, and logical thinking through completing learning tasks, to enhance oral communicative competence, to broaden students’ worldview, to foster interest in reading, and to stimulate interest in reading works of foreign literature.
