Read the dialogue and tick True or False.
So Many People, So Many Opinions
Bella: I hate watching TV. It’s such a waste of time, and most of the programmes are quite boring!
Helen: Really? But I love TV. I get a lot of relaxation, and I’ve even learnt a lot from TV, too. My parents prefer to learn the latest news from the BBC Channel. My mum reads newspapers very seldom, because she is bored with politics. And what about you, Ann?
Ann: As for me, I don’t want to know about the details of all the troubles in the world – it’s so depressing! I like reading stories about people and their private lives.
Bella: So tabloids are just for you. But never read tabloids, because most of them publish gossip about celebrities. I read newspapers when something important has happened: it’s better than TV or radio news.
Ann: But my dad has quite the opposite opinion. According to him, the radio is the best source of getting fresh news. He regularly listens to the radio news in his car on his way to work in the morning and back home in the evening.
Helen: Well, all people are so different in their views, and у are not an exception. So let’s stop discussing this point, and we’d better go for a snack. It’s already lunchtime.
