Our School Music Party
Conversation between Tom and Lily
Tom: Hi, Lily! How was the school music party last Friday?
Lily: It was absolutely awesome! We had it in the school hall, and almost everyone from our year came.
Tom: That sounds exciting! Who came up with the idea?
Lily: Sophie suggested organising a party to bring students together. She thought music could help us make new friends and get along better.
Tom: How did you prepare for it?
Lily: We shared responsibilities. Jack was responsible for preparing the playlist, Emma helped with the decorations, and I designed the invitations.
Tom: Did you all agree on the music?
Lily: Not at first! Emma was really into rock music, but some students preferred pop and jazz. We couldn't agree on which songs to play.
Tom: How did you sort out the problem?
Lily: We talked through our differences and decided to create a playlist with different music genres. Everyone could suggest their favourite songs.
Tom: That's a great solution! Was everything ready on time?
Lily: Almost. Sophie was quite nervous because she was afraid something might go wrong. We tried to cheer her up and helped her check the equipment.
Tom: And what happened when the party started?
Lily: As soon as the music started, students began to dance and sing along. The atmosphere was lively and exciting. Everyone had a great time!
Tom: What did your teacher think?
Lily: Mr Brown was pleasantly surprised. He praised our teamwork and said we had demonstrated remarkable determination.
Tom: So, what did you learn from the experience?
Lily: We realised that listening to others and sharing responsibilities help people work together. Collaboration is much more important than getting everything your own way.
Tom: It sounds like you organised an unforgettable event!
Lily: We certainly did! I can't wait to organise another one.
