This Progress Test is designed to evaluate students’ grasp of the vocabulary and grammar covered in Unit 1 of the Oxford Exam Trainer B1. The test assesses key lexical areas, including family members, stages of life, family celebrations, relationships, and spending time together.
It also checks students’ ability to use a range of present and future tenses, along with their understanding of gerunds, full infinitives, and bare infinitives in context.
The tasks aim to measure both recognition and practical application of the language. This test can be used for ongoing assessment, to identify strengths and areas that may require further revision or support.
