Завдання ГР 1 (Читання)
Read the text and then match two halves to create sentences.
Friendship is one of the greatest gifts in life. But finding a real friend — someone who truly understands you — is not always easy. A true friend accepts you as you are, but also encourages you to grow and improve. They are honest, even when honesty might hurt, because they care about your happiness more than your pride.
In strong friendships, distance or time apart doesn’t destroy the connection. You may not talk every day, but the trust remains. When you meet again, the conversation continues as if it never stopped. That’s the power of a genuine bond.
True friendship is also about balance — giving and receiving support equally. It means being ready to listen, to forgive, and to stand beside someone when life becomes complicated. Such relationships don’t happen overnight; they take time, patience, and kindness.
Even if you don’t talk every day,
as something that grows with time and care.
A real friend accepts you as you are,
but also motivates you to become better.
True friendship means being willing
both giving and receiving support.
A genuine friendship depends on
to stay beside someone in difficult moments.
They tell the truth,
even when it’s not pleasant to hear.
Friendship can be described
but the trust and understanding stay strong.
