Guess what? I’m in a wonderful place now!

Last Friday I arrived in Cappadocia! It’s a region in Turkey. Cappadocia is famous for its fantastic landscapes. Lots of tourists come here to see its rocks that are called “fairy chimneys”. Yesterday I went on a tour and the guide told us that these rocks were volcanoes a long time ago. Mount Erciyes is the highest - three thousand nine hundred and sixteen metres high. Tomorrow I’m going to walk near this mountain.

However, my journey to Turkey was not so good… When I arrived at the airport and came to the check-in desk, I couldn’t find my passport… I was worried about forgetting it but, luckily, I found it in my bag! Then I heard that my flight was delayed for two hours… So, I took my time to read some facts about Cappadocia in the guide book. When I arrived in Turkey I couldn’t find my suitcase in the baggage hall… I was dissapointed… Fortunately, I saw it - the last one was mine!

On my first day here I was afraid of getting sunburn - so, I always wore my hat and used sunscreen.

Oh, I have to go now - I’m visiting the ancient castle and the guide says our bus is leaving! I’ll text you and show my photos in the evening! See you!
