Wild Life in Australia

In Australia and on the islands of Oceania the wildlife is interesting. You can discover animals which cannot be found anywhere else in the world. Most of Australia is a desert and the animals have to spend a lot of time to find water. One of most famous Australian animals is a wild dingo dog. It eats almost everything that can be found: insects, lizards, small kangaroos. Another animal is a wallaby – a small Australian kangaroo. In height it reaches about one m, the weight is from 5 to 10 kg, and in some cases up to 20 kg. Wallabies eat grass and young shoots of plants.
