Christmas Tree

At Christmas, we always put up a Christmas tree. The Christmas tree is a beautiful evergreen tree. It has many branches. We decorate the tree with colorful lights. The lights are red, blue, green, and yellow. They twinkle brightly. The tree looks very magical at night.

We also hang ornaments on the tree. Ornaments are small decorations. They come in many shapes and sizes. Some ornaments are round and shiny. Others are shaped like stars, angels, or snowflakes. We also hang candy canes and ribbons. The ornaments make the tree look festive and fun.

Under the tree, we place wrapped gifts. The gifts are wrapped in colorful paper. They have ribbons and bows. We do not open the gifts until Christmas morning. It is a surprise for everyone. We are always excited to see what is inside the gifts.
