Objectives:
to introduce and practise the new topic; to revise previously taught vocabulary on the topic; to engage the whole class in a warm-up activity; to improve students’ reading and speaking skills;
to develop students’ communicative competence; to activate thinking imagination; develop students’ cognitive skills and memory;
to broaden student’s outlook; to encourage students’ interest in learning information about natural disasters; to develop self-esteem and a sense of respect for others; to bring up students’ responsibility for our environment.
