The internet has revolutionized the way we live, work, and communicate. It all started in the 1960s when the U.S. Department of Defense developed ARPANET, a network that allowed computers to communicate with each other. By the 1980s, universities and research institutions began to connect to this network, and the term “internet” was coined.
In the 1990s, the World Wide Web was created by Tim Berners-Lee, making the internet more accessible to the general public. This led to the development of web browsers, search engines, and email services. Today, the internet is an integral part of our daily lives, used for everything from social networking to online shopping.
