Опис методичного матеріалу:
Australia is the largest island and the smallest continent in the world. It is situated in the Southern Hemisphere. Australia is washed by the waters of the Indian Ocean in the west, in the east the continent is washed by the Pacific Ocean.
Australia is a land of striking differences. In the centre of the continent and in the west more than 50% of the land is desert – dry and uninhabited. There are five deserts there. Naturally very few people live there.
