Aims:
-to develop language skills ;
-to develop the ability to distinguish the desired information while reading , listening and watching the video ;
-to develop the ability to speak logically and consistently on the basis of a given speech situation .
-to practise speed - reading for gist ;
-to practise guessing the meaning of the words from their context ;
- to practise new vocabulary related to travelling English speaking countries .
-to practise group work ;
-to enrich students` knowledge about the world`s places of interest ;
- to expend students` outlook .
- to educate students` respect to other people , their cultures and traditions .
Materials: a multimedia projector,a computer, a screen, video materials, a presentation, a map of the world, a map of Australia and New Zealand, pictures and handouts for project works
