Expected results: The children will be able:
to understand the vocabulary from such topics:
“Days of the Week”;

to understand and use modal verb “can” in their oral speech;
to memorize the correct use of the definite article “the” with the names of musical instruments after the word “play”;
to be able to tell about their free time activities
to develop their listening and reading skills;
to be able to spell the days of the week;
to tell about their favourite musical instruments and be able to name the group they refer to;
to learn the meaning of the word “whistle”;
to get acquainted with folk Ukrainian instruments and learn the main facts about the national Ukrainian instrument whistle;
to draw and paint the image of this musical instrument and be able to create their own sample of this item.
Equipment: the cloud and sun cards with like and dislike on the backward side; cards with anagrams to the theme “days of the week” and interactive game for correction of spelling mistakes; LEGO bricks of blue and yellow colours; the card with the modal verb “can” and the pictures with different free time activities; a presentation with various musical instruments and reading cards for making short dialogues according to it; presentation with samples of Ukrainian folk musical instruments; a short video about “WHISTLE” and images with it and the most famous person who created the biggest whistle in this country; presentation with images and audios of different musical instruments for PT minute, Kahoot Game for summarizing.
