On January 22, 2024, President Zelensky issued Decree No. 17/2024 on the territories of the Russian Federation historically inhabited by Ukrainians. In this presentation, we will recall these lands (how Ukrainians settled there, and how the Russian authorities gradually assimilated them) - Kuban, Slobozhanshchyna, the Don Area, the Grey Wedge, the Yellow Wedge, the Green Wedge, as well as Polissia and Brest region in Belarus and Transnistria in Moldova.
