This exercise is aimed at helping you gain control over your breathing, promote relaxation, and enhance your focus on the present moment. Breathing plays a significant role in influencing our physical and mental state, and this exercise is designed to harness its power for your benefit. It's important to note that these techniques have been effective for military veterans and are personally used by myself as a veteran.
Military Mindfulness Breathing consists of three distinct techniques: the "Calming Breath," the "Action Breath," and the "Comfort Breath."
The first technique, the Action Breath, is intended to boost your energy levels and increase your focus. It can be utilized when you're feeling tired or experiencing low energy.
The second technique, the Calming Breath, is aimed at inducing a sense of calmness and relaxation. It's beneficial for moments when you're feeling stressed or anxious.
The third technique, the Comfort Breath, encourages you to slow down and be fully present in the moment. It promotes a feeling of relaxation, tranquility, and peace.
Let's begin the practice.
