Eastern and European cultures

Eastern and European cultures though often exist close to each other but still have a lot of differences

Usually, it is important to know about them in order to behave properly and to react adequately to all traditions and rites.

Talking about relationships, it should be noticed that family is the central concept in the eastern countries

Couples in these areas have to get parents’ approval to get married or even do not have a choice, because even now arranged marriages are very common in the eastern culture

European countries, on the contrary, put an individual in the first place.

Religion is a moot point because both cultures tend to be pious though only some European countries are religious while others are about to become more atheistic

As for the eastern society, people there give more importance to spirituality conserving ancient rites and even killings.

These cultures differ also in approach to the matter

Europeans have a detailed and analytical attitude

They study all the pros and cons in order to come to the best solution. Representatives of the eastern culture, in their turn, have more abstract thinking.

They look for a balanced solution which will include all positive sides.

Despite being completely different in some questions, both cultures try to coexist peacefully and these differences remind everyone how different we all may be and how important it is to let everyone be true to himself/herself.
