Human greed

It is us, people, who are the             [threats, pollutants, waste, greed, consumption]of most environmental problems below. People are the reason why the climate changes. Human             [threats, pollutants, waste, greed, consumption]and disrespect for the rest of the world combined with uncontrolled resource and energy             [threats, pollutants, waste, greed, consumption] and armed conflicts and wars are the most serious             [threats, pollutants, waste, greed, consumption]to nature regionally and locally. Humans negatively impact the environment through industrial             [threats, pollutants, waste, greed, consumption] dumped in waterways and destroying forest.

Poverty in the developing world

More than 80 percent of the world’s            [developing, diseases, drinking, issues, population] lives in extreme poverty in slums or in rural areas of            [developing, diseases, drinking, issues, population] countries. Bad situation and lack of            [developing, diseases, drinking, issues, population] water, good food and wood for cooking lead to serious environmental            [developing, diseases, drinking, issues, population]. Infectious            [developing, diseases, drinking, issues, population]continue to blight the lives of the poor across the world.

Growing human population

Global human population growth           [resources, growing, result, amounts] to around 83 million annually. Today over 7 billion people live on the Earth and the           [resources, growing, result, amounts]is huge pressure on the world’s

          [resources, growing, result, amounts]. It is expected to keep           [resources, growing, result, amounts], and estimates have put the total population at 8.6 billion by 2030.

Unsustainable agriculture

People need to eat, but the way we               [polluted, damaging, produce, controversial, harmful] our food today raises a number of               [polluted, damaging, produce, controversial, harmful]issues about the environment.
