Dear Diary, I have moved to London this year, so I go to a different school now. I have to admit, I really miss my old classmates. We knew one another so well. My best friend, Emma, was always cheerful and open. She could make anyone laugh, even on bad days. Tom was more of a thinker – quiet but very smart. I was surrounded by people who understood me, and I felt full of self-confidence with them. Now, in my new class, things are a bit strange. Some students are friendly, but others are hard to talk to. There is one boy, Max, who is a real challenger – he always wants to be the best. It is annoying sometimes, but also exciting. Then there is Mia, who is super curious about everything. She asks a hundred questions every lesson! I like that about her. I think I am more of an extrovert, but my seatmate, Lily, is definitely an introvert. She does not talk much, yet she listens so kindly. I am learning to be more forgiving and patient with everyone. Maybe we all just need some time to understand each other. Even though I miss my old friends, I still keep in touch with them, and I feel more hopeful now. This year might actually turn out to be great!
