Dear Diary,

I have moved to London this year, so I go to a different school now. I have to admit, I really miss my old classmates. We knew one another so well. My best friend, Emma, was always cheerful and open. She could make anyone laugh, even on bad days. Tom was more of a thinker — quiet but very smart. I was surrounded by people who understood me, and I felt full of self-confidence with them.
