Parents and Kids
My name is Harold and I am a father of three little girls. I work at a middle school down the road and my wife is a stay at home mom. We love our kids and feel very blessed to have them.
My mother thinks that we might be too easy on our small daughters. She thinks that we spoil them. Mom says that I take after my dad. He always gave me whatever I wanted when I was a kid. My mother would take care of the discipline. If I was acting up as a little toddler, she would send me to time out. There was a little chair in our den that I’d have to sit on for those moments. When I was a teenager she was quick to ground me if I did something bad.
I don’t think that I am too easy on my kids. They do have temper tantrums sometimes, but I try to deal with it. Both of my daughters are out of the terrible twos so I am hoping that they will grow out of that behaviour.
The teenage years are coming soon and I just hope that I’ve done a good job and have been a good role model for my children. I love them a lot and only want the best for each one.
