The first months are difficult
Going to university is one of the most important events in any young person's life. You rent a room in a different city and, suddenly, you don’t have to ask your parents for            to do anything anymore. You can go out every night if you want. With dozens of welcome parties for new and exchange students, the first months on campus are particularly busy.
During this time many young people realise that it’s difficult to lead a         lifestyle. Some can't believe that their favourite dish takes more than an hour to make.        don’t want to waste their time in the kitchen. Fast food becomes an attractive alternative and you end up eating it, even though you know it’s not good for you.
Luckily, after a few months, things slow down and most students begin to focus on their coursework. If you don’t start thinking about your exams in advance and do really badly, you might receive a letter           you that you won’t be able to return to the university next year.
Having fun and passing exams are         important in the first year of university. Still, it’s useful to remember that you're less likely to be kicked out if you spend some time in the library.
