There are four seasons in a year: spring, summer, autumn and winter. Each season has got three months.
The spring months are March, April and May. In spring it is warm and sometimes it is rainy and windy. The snow melts. The birds sing beautiful songs. There are lots of flowers in spring. The grass is green. The sky is blue. The trees are green.
The summer months are June, July and August. In summer it is sunny and hot. We wear sun hats and sunglasses. We swim in the river. We can go windsurfing or go sailing. Children ride their bikes.
The autumn months are September, October and November. In autumn it is cool and rainy. The sky is grey. The trees are yellow, red and orange. There are mushrooms in the forest. We wear raincoats, boots and take umbrellas. Pupils go to school.
The winter months are December, January and February. In winter it is cold and it snows. We wear hats, coats, gloves and scarves. We go skiing. Children make a snowman and play snowballs. We celebate the New Year and Christmas. We decorate a New Year Tree with balls and toys. The Father Frost brings presents for kids at night.
