Welcome to Greenfield High School
If you visit Britain, you will find many different schools. Some students go to a state school, while others study at a private school. Greenfield High School is a modern state school in the south of England. It welcomes students aged 11 to 16 and provides excellent secondary education. The school is located in a quiet area near a large park. The main entrance is opposite the town library. The sports centre is behind the main building, and the school garden is next to the Science Block. There is a beautiful courtyard in the middle of the school, where students usually relax during breaks. The Art Room is between the Music Room and the Computer Room, while the library is in front of the main hall.
Before joining Greenfield High School, children usually attend a primary school. After graduating from Year 11, many students continue their studies at college or another high school. Students study English, Mathematics, Science, History, Geography, Modern Languages, Art, Music, PE, Computing, and Design and Technology. Science lessons are held in modern laboratories where students analyse experiments and work in small groups. Every classroom has interactive whiteboards and computers to support learning. Teachers at Greenfield High School are friendly, experienced, and tolerant. They encourage students to ask questions, share ideas, and respect different opinions. If a student needs extra help, they can meet with a tutor after lessons. Tutors support students with homework, revision, and personal goals.
The school has several important rules. Students must arrive on time, wear the school uniform every day, and be polite to everyone. Mobile phones are not allowed during lessons. Students should keep the school clean and respect teachers, classmates, and school property. Learning is not only about lessons. Greenfield High School offers many extracurricular activities. Students can join the Drama Club, Debate Club, School Choir, Football Team, Robotics Club, or Eco Club. These activities help students make new friends, learn new skills, and enjoy school life.
