Hi Vika!

I hope your summer holidays in Odessa were good.

I had a great time in Kyiv. It was a special holiday for my sister's 6th birthday. We stayed at a nice hotel in the centre of the city. So we could see Khreshchatyk Street from our bedroom window.

The food in Kyiv was great. We ate in different cafes and restaurants every day. My favourite restaurant was McDonald's. My sister received a "Happy Meal" box with a hamburger, juice and a toy in it.

We did lots of sightseeing and visited some interesting museums. We saw Taras Shevchenko monument and St. Sophia Cathedral. But we didn't visit the cathedral because we went to the opera theatre.

My mum and sister liked the shops in Kyiv and bought new T-shirts for everyone. I hate shops, so I didn't buy anything. But I took lots of photos of my family.
