Music in our life

I love going to concerts, especially when I know the music. Last week I went to a concert of classical music with my brother. The conductor and the orchestra were fantastic. They played a Beethoven symphony. It was very beautiful. After that, a piano joined them on stage and they played some more music together. I don't know who the pianist was but he was amazing. Then, in the second half, a soprano sang some opera. She had an incredible voice. I didn't understand the words because it was in Italian but it was still great. I enjoyed it a lot.

My brother doesn't like classical music. He likes pop and rock. He's in a band with some friends from school. They're not famous or anything but they're quite good. They write their own songs and play at parties sometimes. My brother plays the guitar and sings. He's got a really nice voice. I think they should make an albumn. I'd buy it!

My dad is a big fan of old bands like The Beatles and The Rolling Stones. He's got all their albums. My mum doesn't like that kind of music. She prefers modern music. Her favourite singer is Robbie Williams. She's got all his albums too. My sister listens to rap. I can't stand it. It's so loud. And my little brother likes pop music. He's always singing the latest song by some trendy boy band. I don't know how he remembers all the words.

I don't have a favourite type of music. I listen to everything. I think there's good music in every style. I'm always downloading new songs. Yesterday, one of my well-known singers released a new single. It's called 'Love is the answer'. It's different from her other songs. It's more electronic. I think she produced it herself. She's very talented. She doesn't just sing, she also writes her own songs. Last year she won a contest for new songwriters. The prize was $10,000. She's going to use the money to record her first albumn. I can't wait to hear it!
