Sarah's Saturday

It was Saturday morning, and the sun was shining brightly through Sarah's window. But Sarah wasn't in the mood for sunshine. She had chores to do!

First, she had to make her bed. She pulled up the covers and straightened the pillows. Then, she picked up her dirty clothes and put them in the hamper.

Next, it was time to clean her room. She picked up her toys and put them away. She dusted her desk and shelves. She even vacuumed her floor!

Finally, it was time to do the dishes. Sarah washed the plates, cups, and forks. She put them away neatly in the cupboard.

When she was finished, Sarah looked around her room. It was clean and tidy! She felt proud of herself. She had done all her chores without complaining.

Now, Sarah was ready for the best part of her Saturday: playing with her friends!
