" Good friends"
Lily was a little green frog. She lived in the lake. She was very active. Lily swam, played, jumped every day. But she liked travelling best of all. Every day she travelled to another lake to visit her friends Pat and Pit. They were big brown birds. Pat, Pit and Lily did morning exercises, had breakfast and played different games together. They were happy!
One day Lily’s friends said: “We are going to fly to a warm country because it’s cold”. Lily also wanted to go to a warm country but frogs can’t fly.
Lily had a plan. She asked Pit and Pat to take her to the warm country. Lily put a stick into her mouth. Pat took one end of the stick and Pit took the other end of the stick and they flew to the warm country. Lily couldn’t speak.
Two girls saw the birds in the sky. One girl said, “Oh! Look! What have the birds got? Is it a chicken?”
“No, I’m not a chicken! I am a frog,” said Lily and fell down.
