School life is not easy - that’s for sure. There are many subjects to learn and extracurricular activities to do, like playing football or singing in the school choir.

As for me, I have ten subjects this year. I play the guitar in my school’s band, and we perform rock music. It’s our favourite genre because it gives us energy.

I go to a state school in my neighbourhood. It’s located opposite the central park, and I often walk there with my friends, Alisha’and Jack. Alisha is a little bit shy, but she is very loyal. Jack, on the other hand, is quite energetic and always keeps everyone posted.

My school isn’t very big - it has only two floors. On the ground floor, there’s a large assembly hall and the gym is next to it. The canteen is on the left, with the school kitchen behind it.

All the classrooms, the staff room and the headmaster’s office are on the first floor. The science lab is at the end of the corridor.

The rules at my school are strict: everyone has to be kind and polite. Bullying and cheating aren’t allowed. We all have to be in time for lessons and wear a school uniform. If you break the rules, you get detention.
