My First Orders

I decided to create a small online page where I could show my designs. I took photos of my products and shared them with my friends. I also asked customers what colours and styles they preferred.

Some people wanted personalised bracelets with their names, while others asked me to create matching accessories for their friends. I customised each product and tried to make every order special.

I earned my first money from this hobby a few weeks later. It wasn't a huge amount, but I was really proud because I had made everything myself!

What I Learned

Running a small business isn't always easy. Sometimes, I have to spend hours making products, and I need to organise my time carefully.

I also learned how to calculate the cost of materials, set reasonable prices and communicate politely with customers. When I made a mistake, I tried to fix it instead of giving up.

My favourite part is creating new designs. I often recycle old materials and experiment with different colours and decorations. Every product is different, so I never get bored!

How It All Started

Last year, I discovered that I really enjoyed making handmade bracelets, keychains and colourful decorations. At first, I created them for myself and my friends. I used old beads, pieces of colourful string and recycled materials to make something unique.

One day, my friend asked me to make a special bracelet for her birthday. She loved it so much that she showed it to her classmates. Soon, several students wanted to order their own handmade accessories!

My Advice

If you have a hobby, don't be afraid to develop it! You could draw pictures, sew clothes, bake cookies, make jewellery or customise old objects.

Start with something simple. Show your work to friends and family, listen to their ideas and practise regularly. You don't need expensive equipment to create something interesting.

For me, this hobby is not only a way to earn money. It helps me become more creative, responsible and confident.
