Alex and Daniel have been best friends since primary school. Daniel is very loyal, reliable, and easygoing. Last Saturday, Alex wanted to buy a new jacket for autumn. They went to the biggest shopping centre in town. There were plenty of special offers and big discounts. Daniel helped Alex find a nice blue jacket. The original price was £60, but with a 25% discount, Alex paid only £45. The shop assistant gave Alex the receipt and explained that he could exchange the jacket or get a refund within 14 days if there was any problem. Alex also used his store loyalty card to get extra points. After shopping, the friends went to a café, drank juice, and discussed their plans for the upcoming school holidays. |
