A Story About Friendship
Mia and Lena had been friends since childhood. They got on well because they had a lot in common: they both loved music, long walks, and spending time on their own when they needed quiet.
One Saturday, Mia asked Lena to come round to her house so they could get together and plan their holiday. Everything was going fine, but suddenly they had an argument about where to go.
“It’s your fault we can’t decide!” Lena said.
“That’s not fair,” Mia answered. “You must calm down. We just need to talk.”
Lena knew she should behave better, and she apologized. Mia also understood that she had to listen more carefully. But the girls were tired, and they soon fell out and Lena went home.
The next day, Mia felt bad. She called Lena and said, “Let’s make up. I don’t want to fight.”
Lena agreed and came round again. They both behaved themselves, talked calmly, and finally chose a place they both liked.
In the end, they were happy they didn’t give up on their friendship—because true friends will always find a way to make up.
Why had Lena and Mia been friends?
