There are lots of environmental problems nowadays, mainly because of pollution. It is the contamination of air, water and land by waste, chemicals, smoke and other harmful substances.
The emission of smokes from factories and cars, are big causes of air pollution which produce acid rain, smog and a hole in the ozone layer.
Water is also suffering from pollution because of the millions of tons of litter being thrown into the seas every year.
Pollution is also caused by the fertilizers and pesticides used by farmers for the soil.
It is up to us to stop damaging the environment. We all should act green and fight the pollution by using the 3 R’s !

Guess the painter by his biography:
He, born in 1853 Netherlands, is one of the most prominent painters in history. With a large body of work, he created everything from landscapes, still life’s, portraits, and self-portraits.
Born to a wealthy family, he spent his early life as a missionary until pursuing painting when he was almost thirty.
Throughout his life, he was plagued by mental health issues, going in and out of psychiatric hospitals, one instance occurring after he severed his own ear which he is now infamous for. Eventually his mental health issues caught up to him and he died of suicide in 1890.
Ironically, he became famous after his suicide, becoming a mythological figure deemed as a tragic genius. His work is largely characterized as neo-impressionistic with a strong use of vivid colors.
