Dear Ann,

How are you? I`m writing to tell you about my holiday. It`s terrible!

You know, I bought a first-class ticket, but the plane was eight hours late! I arrived at the hotel at 4 o`clock on Friday morning. The next day I went to the beach. I wanted to sunbathe and swim. But the sand is dirty and the water is so cold here. And there are a lot of people everywhere. The hotel is terrible, too. From my room, I can see only a hotel car park.

The swimming pool is very small, and there are always a lot of noisy children there. My room is terrible. It is very expensive, but in spite of it, it`s dirty, and this morning I have found an enormous cockroach in the bathroom! And there is a noisy family next to me.

I`m eating a sandwich in my room at the moment because the waiters in the restaurant are impolite and unfriendly. The food is terrible. Yesterday I found a snail in my salad. It was disgusting!

It`s time for bed. It`s pleasant to take a shower, but, of course, there`s no hot water in my room. And I can`t watch a film because the television doesn`t work.
