My name is Fred. I am a schoolboy. We are going to have our holidays soon. My sister Alice enjoys staying at home and watching TV or playing computer games. As for me, I’m fond of travelling. It is wonderful to visit a nice place, meet new people, and try dishes of different cuisines.

Most of all, I would like to go to Great Britain. My dream is to see this country with my own eyes. I’d like to go to Great Britain in summer. This is the perfect time for travelling. You don’t have to pack a lot of clothes, just a pair of jeans, shorts, some T-shirts, and a jumper for cool weather.

It is important to take a camera. Tourists always take lots of photos, and I am not an exception. I would travel to Great Britain by plane because it is the fastest and the most comfortable means of transport.

I’d like to see Big Ben, the symbol of London, Buckingham Palace, the residence of the King, the Houses of Parliament, and visit the British Museum. I want to go on a ride on the London Eye. I hope I will have a good time in the capital of the UK.
