Hello, I am Ann. I went to London two months ago with my class.
London is the capital of Great Britain. It's a big and beautiful city with lots of things to see and do. It is a large cultural and business center of Great Britain. London has a great and long history.
We went on a sightseeing tour around London on a double-decker bus. It was great.
First we went to St. Paul's. That's a very old and beautiful cathedral. Then we saw the Tower of London. It was a royal castle and a prison in the past but now it's a museum where you could see royal jewels. You could learn about the kings and queens of England in the Tower of London. There were lots of big black birds in the gardens.
We also saw the Palladium. That's a famous theatre. Then we walked around the Tate Modern. That's an art gallery. We stopped at the London Eye. That's a Big Wheel and we went on it. You could see all of London from the top.
Also we saw Big Ben and the House of Parliment. Big Ben is the name of the bell in the clock tower. Finally we went on a boat along the river Thames. We had a great time!
