Making friends at school
On my first day at a new school, I felt nervous because I did not know anyone. In the classroom, I sat next to a girl with brown hair. She smiled at me and asked my name. Her name was Emma, and she was very friendly. During the lesson, she helped me find the right page in my book. At break time, we ate snacks together and talked about our favorite games.
After school, Emma introduced me to her friends. They were kind and invited me to play soccer with them. I was happy to join their game, and we all laughed a lot. By the end of the day, I felt much better because I had made new friends. Making friends at school is important because it helps you feel welcome and enjoy your time learning new things.
