From an Outsider to an Insider

I had just finished university and was looking      [for, at, on, into] a career. Someone suggested that I apply for an internship and it was the best thing I ever did! I worked for eight weeks at a newspaper. The work was quite varied. A Dream Job

It’s a job       attracted over 34,000 applications from around the world. Everyone     applied had to send in a 60-second video       explained why they wanted the job and what skills they had to offer. And what was this amazing job? Caretaker of Hamilton Island, in the Great Barrier Reef. It’s a place       it’s sunny and warm all year round, and       probably has the most beautiful coral reefs in the world. The person     got the job had to explore the islands nearby, and report back to the world about their experiences. The sixteen people       videos most impressed the employers came to Australia for an interview. The lucky man     was finally chosen for the job was Ben Wilson from the UK. Unfortunately for him the job was only for six months!
