Ukraine
Ukraine is a beautiful country in Eastern Europe. The capital of Ukraine is Kyiv. It is a big and old city. Many people live in cities, towns, and villages.
The Dnipro River is the longest river in the country. In the west, there are the Carpathian Mountains. In the south, there is the Black Sea. Many people travel in summer to the sea and in winter to the mountains.
Ukrainian people are friendly and hardworking. They love their traditions, music, songs, and dances. One of the national symbols of Ukraine is the sunflower. People also love to eat borshch — a traditional Ukrainian soup.
Ukraine has four seasons: spring, summer, autumn, and winter. In spring, flowers bloom. In summer, it is hot and sunny. Autumn is yellow and beautiful. In winter, it is cold and snowy.
