The "Green Future" project lasted for only one day.
Last month, our school started a project called "Green Future." The main goal was to show students how technology can help protect the environment. Our teacher, Mr. Brown, who has been an environmental activist for ten years, told us that if we didn't change our habits now, the planet would face big problems in the future.
On the first day, we were shown a new type of solar-powered greenhouse built in the school garden. We were told that all the electricity for the school's computer lab is now produced by solar panels on the roof. It was an amazing experience! If I had more space on my balcony at home, I would definitely install a small solar panel there too.
During the second week, we focused on the "Zero Waste Challenge." We had to avoid using plastic for five days. Instead of buying bottled water, we used glass bottles. We also learned about "smart bins" that can automatically separate paper, plastic, and metal.
By the end of the project, many students had changed their minds about their future careers. For example, my friend Olena, who used to want to be a lawyer, is now thinking about becoming an environmental engineer. As for me, if I pass my exams well, I will study ecology at university. Our planet needs people who care, and I believe that even small changes can make a big difference.

Tick true or false:
Mr. Brown is a new teacher with no experience in ecology
