The Wobbly Tower

Last summer, Tom and Emma went on a trip to a famous city known for its fascinating landscapes. They wanted to see the tallest skyscrapers and visit the old royal castle.

Their first stop was a western tower, famous for its wobbly design. “It looks like it will collapse!” Emma said. But Tom laughed. “It has stood for 500 years. It won’t destroy itself today!”

At the entrance, a guide told them the story of the tower’s origin. A mistake in the design made the building lean to one side. Engineers tried to fix it many times, but it never stood straight.

Next, they visited a northern castle, where kings once lived. The history of the place inspired them. They explored rooms located in the eastern and southern wings and enjoyed the beautiful sight of the city.

By the end of the day, their legs were tired, but their minds were full of stories. "Next time, let’s see a straight building!" Tom joked.
