When I was a little girl, I lived in a small village in Texas. We lived on a large farm with lots of animals. It was very relaxing. You could hear the birds singing in the morning.

It was great during the week because I was with my friends at school and we had a lot of afterschool activities. But there wasn’t much to do during the weekend when I was at home. My school friends and I could not meet because there were no buses in the village. So, I had to watch TV but it was so boring for me.

Now that I’m older and my parents moved to New York City. It’s easier now to be with my friends because I can take the bus to everywhere I want to go. My favourite place to go is the shopping centre.

I always hang out with my friends there.
