[A, B, C, D, E, F, G, H]
The first flight in the morning is always less likely to have a delay. So, if you can get up at the crack of dawn, you will probably get to your vocation sooner.

[A, B, C, D, E, F, G, H]
The days of travel that are generally the cheapest are Tuesday, Wednesday or Saturday. There are also tend to fewer people travelling on those days, which make the airport and airline experience more pleasant. The majority of airfare sales also come out on Tuesday, Freedman adds.

DO YOU WANT ТО LEARN ABOUT THE LOCAL CULTURE?
I sincerely hope your answer to this question is ‘yes’, because I’m not sure why you’d want to study abroad somewhere if you feel ambivalent about the local culture. Even if you don’t seek out information about regional differences, traditional styles of dress, or local cuisine, (33) [A, B, C, D, E, F, G, H] .
However, if you find yourself with many questions about local festivals, traditions, or politics, a host family could prove to be a valuable resource. They can contextualize the big things, like if the whole country goes on strike for a day, (34) [A, B, C, D, E, F, G, H] , like whether or not you should say hello to people on the elevator.
They can tell you about their favourite local haunts and invite you to gatherings with their family and friends.
You can do research online (35) [A, B, C, D, E, F, G] or study abroad coordinators about questions regarding your host culture. But nothing can quite beat encountering something that confuses you and having your host parents explain it to you over dinner on the same day.
Are you ready to experience a new family’s rules and quirks?
The family you grew up with set your expectations for what families are like. If your family had big get-togethers with friends and neighbours, (36) [A, B, C, D, E, F, G, H] . If your family sat down for dinner at 6:00 every night, that’s what you automatically expect other families to do.
Are you ready to deal with a whole new family? It’s not as hard (37) [A, B, C, D, E, F, G, H] , but there could be some awkwardness, particularly when you’re first settling in and still learning about the differences between this family and your own.
The bottom line: Be honest about your needs.
Communication is key to having a positive experience with a host family. Make sure they know what you expect of them, (38) [A, B, C, D, E, F, G, H] . Do you need to call them if you aren’t coming home for dinner? Probably. Should they stop trying to cajole you into eating seafood, after you’ve told them once that you don’t like it? Probably.
This is your study abroad experience. Now make it a memorable one.
