My family and I live in a ⁰          in a small ¹             in Yorkshire. My parents have their own ²           here and my brother and I go to the local school. People here are very friendly. They smile, say good morning and ³           hands when they meet in the street. They chat to their neighbours when they ⁴       the plants in the garden or take

⁵     the rubbish. It’s a great place to live.

I’ve had a bad week. Poor Mum is ill. She’s got the flu and she feels terrible. She had a temperature again today. She coughs all night and she’s got a sore throat. I make her hot tea and orange juice so she can get well soon. Dad is feeling bad too. He hasn’t got the flu, but he ate too much yesterday and now he’s got a stomachache. And that’s not all.
