Judy Woodsons was born in 1992 in a small town near Toronto, Canada. When she was young, she was especially interested in Maths – she always got the best marks, took part and won in school Maths competitions.
But she has always been a big dreamer. At night, she often looked in the sky and tried to find stars about which she read at Astronomy lessons. She dreamt that one day she will became an astronaut and watched another planets.
After leaving school, Judy entered the university in Ottawa, the capital of Canada. When she studied, she started to work at the local library. It was wonderful time because she could read as many books about astronauts and space as she wanted.
For some years she has worked as Maths teacher at school. Judy was very kind and students loved her. Once, she and her students decided to take part in the Science competition. They created… a model of space ship! They won! They were interviewed by TV channel EuroNews and it was seen by scientists who work for NASA – American space agency. Next month Judy started working for NASA as an engineer and her dream came true – she is working in a great team in the USA and making real space ship to travel to Mars!
